A New Class Opportunity

For any of you that might have missed any of the classes that I taught last month, I will be teaching them again. I will be teaching on Sunday, May 27th at It’s About Time Scrapbooking in Murrieta, California. The classes are as follows:

Photography 101 – 11am – 1:30pm
This is a hands on class teaching you the basics of using your DSLR camera. We will be learning about all of those buttons on your camera, as well as an overview of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Again, this is a hands on class so be sure to bring your camera along to join in the fun of USING it!

Photoshop Elements Basics – 2pm – 4pm
This, also, is a hands on class. We will be covering some of the basics of Photoshop Elements including cropping, color correction, adding frames, and using brushes. This is a fast paced, but very fun class. I have had a great response to this class, with almost everyone leaving ready for a “part 2″ class. The feedback on this has been incredible, and so very gratifying for me. I love to hear how everyone is actually USING their program now. A side note on this class, I use Photoshop Elements 3. Many have come to class with different versions – including full versions of Photoshop. This class is taught for Photoshop Elements users, however with a little patience, I can also help those using full versions of Photoshop to take your first steps into a whole new world of photo editing.

New Photos Added

Hi there. I’ve just uploaded some new photos from an incredible engagement session that I had a few weeks ago. This couple was so much fun. I’m very much looking forward to their wedding.

I’d also like to let everyone know that unfortunately my photo classes at Devine Memories in Arizona have been canceled. I am still teaching this Saturday (March 29th) at Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine, CA and on Sunday at It’s About Time Scrapbooking in Murrieta, CA. Hope to see you all there!

More classes added…

I’m excited to announce that more classes have been added to my teaching schedule. I will be teaching at The Scrapbook Oasis on Saturday, March 29th at 7pm. I will only be teaching the Photoshop Elements class at this location.

I have also booked May 10th with Devine Memories in Gilbert, Arizona. We have not nailed down all of the details about it yet, but I will be teaching both the Photography Basics class and the Photoshop Elements class at this location.

Photo Classes

I’m so excited to let everyone know that I will be teaching some photo classes on March 30th at It’s About Time Scrapbooking in Murrieta. We just scheduled the date today, so the details are not up on their site yet. Keep checking back, though. Here are a few of the details so far:

Photography Basics
This will be a two and a half hour class covering the basics of how to use your SLR camera. We will go over all of those buttons you have questions about, as well as ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture (F/Stop), basic composition, and more. This is a hands on class. You will be USING your cameras, not just listening to me speak. I’ve already taught this class and the response was amazing. Everyone left learning something.

Photoshop Elements Basics
This will be a two hour class covering the basics of Photoshop Elements. Don’t have Elements? Come and see what it can do. Many of the principles taught in this class can also be used in Photoshop 7, CS2 and CS3. This is another hands on class where you will be working on photos. Bring your laptop! We will be talking about cropping photos, color correcting, straightening crooked photos, adjusting bad lighting, and so much more!

Again, these are BASICS class. No prior experience is required. My goal is to help you to take the incredible photos you’ve been longing to take. I hope you all will join me for a day of photo fun!!!

Working hard…

Please know that I have been working hard to add new content to this blog. I had to buy a new computer and have been transferring things to it, organizing, reorganizing, and deleting what I don’t need. I will be adding new photos in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can view my current gallery by clicking on any of the photos on the right hand side.
